The Williamson County Fair returns to the AgExpo Park in Franklin, TN, from Friday, August 4, through Saturday, August 12. With various new and returning competitive events, fairgoers will be "Livin' for the Ribbon" this year.

About the event

The Williamson County Fair returns to the AgExpo Park in Franklin, TN, from Friday, August 4, through Saturday, August 12. With various new and returning competitive events, fairgoers will be "Livin' for the Ribbon" this year.

9 Days of Fun for all ages includes excellent food, music, rides and games, and the return of Fair favorites like the BMX Trickstars and Robocars. Plus, daily entertainment by the Sea Lion Splash, Kardenni Magic, Little 1's Farming, and much more!

New attractions this year include the Ninja Experience, the Pickin' Porch, and the Mobile Dairy - a 32-foot classroom featuring a fully operational milking parlor, live cow, milking equipment, and a highly-trained instructor for each presentation.

Sunday: Senior Day - Free admission for Seniors 55 and older.

Monday: "Pay it Forward" Monday - benefitting GraceWorks - Bring four canned goods, four food items, or 4 of anything from the "Critical Needs" list per person...and get in FREE.

Tuesday: $1 off admission for Middle TN Electric customers with coupon insert from July bill (must present original coupon).

Saturday, August 6: Free admission for ALL active and retired military individuals with military ID.

Monday – Thursday: Gates Open at 6:00 pm Building Hours: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Midway: Closes at 11:00 p.m.

Saturday: Gates Open at 10:00 am Building Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Midway: Closes at Midnight

Friday: Gate Open at 6:00 pm Building Hours: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Midway: Closes at Midnight

Sunday: Gates Open at Noon Building Hours: 12:00 noon – 10:00 p.m. Midway: Closes at 11:00 p.m.

HOW TO GET TO THE FAIR

Exit #61 off I-65, then go east less than 500 feet, take a left, and follow the signs to fun, food, and entertainment. We recommend using alternate routes to avoid rush hour traffic.

  • From the East - take SR840 to Peytonsville-Trinity Rd. (Exit #34); turn right off the exit; go one block and turn left at Glenn's Grocery onto Peytonsville Rd. Proceed approximately 4.6 miles; turn right onto Long Lane to the fairgrounds. Livestock enters Gate #3 for unloading. (See Map #1)
  • From the West - take SR840 to I-65 North to Peytonsville Rd. (Exit #61); turn right off the exit; go one block and turn left onto Long Lane; Fairgrounds is just ahead. Livestock enters Gate #3 for unloading. (See Map #1)
  • From the North - take I-65 South to Exit #61, Peytonsvile Rd./Goose Creek Bypass. (See Map #2)
  • OR...take I-65 South to McEwen Lane (Exit #67); turn left off the interstate to Carothers Parkway. Take a right and proceed to SR96. Go straight across SR96, entering South Carothers Parkway, approximately 5.4 miles to Long Lane. Take a right onto Long Lane to Fairgrounds. Livestock enters Gate #3 for unloading.
  • From the South - take I-65 North to Peytonsville Rd./Goose Creek Bypass (Exit #61); turn right off the exit; go one block and turn left onto Long Lane; the fairgrounds are just ahead. Livestock enters Gate #3 for unloading. (See Map #2)

Free parking is provided by NISSAN North America

Please note that, during Fair hours, private vehicles must remain in the parking areas and will not be allowed in the pedestrian areas within the ticket gates.

  • Gate 1 is the main entrance for parking.
  • Courtesy Carts will run continuously throughout the parking areas providing drop off and pick up at the ticket booths until 15 minutes before closing time each night, except Sunday-Thursday carts will run until 10:00 pm.
  • Guests who need to drop off someone at the Fair entrance should proceed down Long Lane to Gate 2, pull into the front parking lot, drop off their guest, and then return via the same route out onto Long Lane.
  • Livestock trailers should proceed down Long Lane to the third Fairgrounds entrance, Gate 3.
